Ordering
When calculating the number of tiles required please ensure your measurements are accurate.We cannot be held responsible for any under/over ordering of tiles.
Please ensure the delivery address and contact details provided with your order are correct. Please give your mobile number if you have one.(We will not contact you for anything other than organising delivery)
Delivery
Tiles are delivered on a shrink wrapped pallet. It is imperetive that tiles are not stored outside or in damp conditions whilst stacked or on the pallet or staning may occur.
Delivery will be made to the nearest hard road suitable for the delivery vehicle.
It is necessary to have some one taking delivery as the pallet of tiles will be delivered using a tail lift to take the tiles down to road level. Moving of tiles from there is the responsibility of the customer.
Tiles that are stacked or on a pallet should be stored in dry conditions at all times to avoid staining due to efflorescence.
Delivery Service is 2 day from order dispatch.(24hr delivery can be arranged at extra cost)
Deliveries can be made Monday-Friday. Timed deliveries can be arranged at extra cost.
Deliveries normally occurr between 8am and 6pm.
Tile Colours
Although every effort has been made to show the true colour of our tiles screen settings etc can distort these.
Therefore tiles may not match the exact colours shown online. If you need to determine the exact colour please order samples by calling 01555 870019.
Due to the high cement content of Overlay Tiles there is the possibility that efflorescence or staining may appear on tiles if water has been allowed into the stack but evapouration has been restricted. The strength and other properties of the tile will not be affected.
Overlay Tiles are manufactured from naturally occurring materials and are therefore liable to colour differences caused through variation in raw materials and differential drying conditions. These variations are beyond the control of the manufacturer. Overlay Tiles displaying unacceptable degree of variation should not be laid and the advice of the manufacturer should be sought. No responsibility will be accepted for the consequences of the variation in tile colour.
Do not allow dirt and other contaminants to build up in the gaps between tiles as this can cause staining. If contamination of tiles is likely to occur it is advisable to seal with our specially formulated sealant before use. Acid based cleanaers must no be used on tiles.
Overlay Tiles are stacked on pallets and shrink wrapped soon after manufacture to provide optimum curing conditions. As a result they may not display there true colour until they have been exposed to weathering and sunlight.
PU Adhesive
PU Adhesive must be applied as per the instructions on the bottle and online.
Liability
Overlay Tiles accepts no responsibility for anyone slipping or falling on our tiles. Although our tiles have an impressive anti slip rating any surface can become slippery under poor conditions.( eg Ice, Grease, Oils etc)
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us via email or phone of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Returns
Any tiles that are returned will be subject to the following deductions from any refund due:
Limitations
You may not use the overlaytiles.com site for any of the following purposes:
~disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material
~transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any relevant laws, regulations or code of practice
~gaining unauthorised access to other computer systems
~interfering with any other person's use or enjoyment of the overlaytiles.com site
~breaching any laws concerning the use of public telecommunications networks
~interfering or disrupting networks or web sites connected to the overlaytiles.com site
~making, transmitting or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner
~overlaytiles.com reserves the right to refuse to post material on the overlaytiles.com site or to remove material already posted on the overlaytiles.com site
